5 SENSES EVENTS

Havdalah engages the five senses. Each project is inspired by one of the senses, creating immersive and meaningful experiences that help us connect to our identity and purpose in tangible ways to turn rituals into opportunities for action, connection and Jewish pride.

Havdalah NYC (40).HEIC

Havdalah Candle Workshop

We were honored to host a Havdalah Candle Workshop led by Wax Creations. It was an interactive experience where participants made their Havdalah candles from scratch braiding and shaping them before donating them to patients in New York hospitals. This tactile, creative act turned touch into chesed  spreading light that could be held and shared.

Challah Bake

We gathered for a beautiful Challah and Light experience. Together, we braided challah, enjoyed the inspiring words of Remi Stern and Millennial Rabbi, and packaged Shabbat candles for those in need with The Mitzvah Tribe and All Things Chessed.
